Terms and conditions of your stay at Sea-n-Stars
Consider this your home, treat it as your own, respect your neighbours, and leave it as you find it.
A Refundable Damage Deposit applies and will be refunded up to 7 days after departure, providing there are NO damages or extra cleaning required. Extra cleaning will be charged at $35 per hour, if the cleaning is in excess of 2 hours.
Toiletries are not provided so please bring along your toiletry items such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper etc. (minimal toilet paper is provided).
Offensive noise is prohibited and may result in termination of permission to occupy the property, eviction from the property, loss of rental paid and loss of damage deposit refund. This includes Guests and Visitors.
Holiday premises are available after 2:00pm on the day of arrival and are to be vacated by 10:00am on the day of departure, unless alternate arrangements have been made with the property manager.
The maximum number of guests permitted is 8. Visitors are allowed but must not occupy the house overnight. Visitors are also obliged to abide by the House Rules and Terms & Conditions of the property.
On departure all keys are to be returned to the key box.
Your co-operation in leaving the premises in a clean and tidy condition would be appreciated. This includes ensuring all the dishes are washed, dried and put away, and the garbage is taken out. If the premises are not left in a tidy condition, an additional fee will be charged to your Damage Deposit.
Garbage bins are provided. Please ensure that all garbage is removed from the property and placed in the bins provided. If your rubbish does not fit in the bins provided, please take it with you. On departure, place the bins on the kerbside for collection with the handle facing the property. Bins are collected early Monday morning, so please ensure they are put out Sunday night, ready for Monday morning pickup. There is a collection schedule on the fridge to let you know which bins are required to be put out.
All guests are responsible for keeping the property secure during their stay and will be responsible for any theft or damage due to neglect in this area.
If you are bringing pets along for the stay, it is your responsibility to ensure they are adequately supervised at all times.
No liability is accepted for any injury, debt, damage or loss, delay, expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events beyond the owners control. No responsibility is taken for guests’ personal property left on or near the premises. It is recommended that guests take out personal property insurance or adequate travel insurance should any unexpected events arise before or during your travel period.
All guests are responsible for any loss or damage arising from breakages or other damage to the property during their stay, including additional cleaning, removal of excess garbage, repairs or replacement items in the property.
We understand that accidents happen which may cause breakages, but please let us know if this is the case. If we are not informed the costs may be taken from your Damage Deposit.
If the BBQ is not cleaned before departure, a $30 cleaning charge will be deducted from your damage deposit refund.
Should a tradesperson be sent out upon your request to carry out a repair that was unnecessary, the cost of the callout will be charged to you.
We will endeavor to recover and return items of value inadvertently left in the property but take absolutely no responsibility for their recovery or return. Items will be posted ‘cash on delivery’, items may also incur a packaging cost. Left undergarments will be disposed of immediately.
If the property runs out of gas please take the gas bottle to the caravan park kiosk where they will swap the empty cylinder with a full one. We will reimburse you for these costs on the presentation of a receipt.
Property access information will not be handed out until the final payment of your stay has been made.
Inside the property is strictly non-smoking. Smoking inside the property is cause for an immediate non-release of the damage deposit taken for that booking.
All deposits paid are non-refundable. Cancellations notified MORE THAN 28 DAYS prior to the arrival date will be entitled to a full refund less the deposit.
Cancellations notified LESS THAN 28 DAYS prior to arrival date may forfeit the total booking cost. The Damage Deposit amount will be refunded.
In the case where restrictions due to Covid-19 prevent the traveller from travelling, we will gladly rebook you for another suitable time, or arrange a full refund.
Tenants that do not notify of their intention not to come will forfeit ALL PAYMENT.
If you shorten your stay the unused portion of your rental is not refundable unless an agreement has been made with the owners.
Non-compliance with these conditions permits the owner to refuse the key, amend the rent of premises or immediately terminate the tenancy.
